Welcome to the 2020 with Watertown Youth Baseball Jefferson County League Registration !

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign consent items and submit registration payment.

To complete registration, you will need to submit payment through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card available.  

  

 

Jefferson County League Program Overview

The JCYBL is for players in the Watertown Area, ages 5 to 15, that are interested in playing other communities.  (including, but not limited to:  Ixonia, Clyman, Reeseville, Farmington, etc.)

  • Teams play 1 to 2 games per week on various nights of the week from May thru July.  Some games may play on Saturday.  Game times will vary.
  • Most games are scheduled on weeknights after 6:00 p.m.
  • All teams that have a qualifying record, except Jr Pee Wee,  participate in an end-of-season tournament
  • Teams are broken down by age into 4 leagues/divisions:
    • Jr Pee Wee :       Ages 5 to 8 as of May 1st, 2020
    • Pee Wee :           Ages 8 to 10 as of May 1st, 2020
    • Little League :    Ages 10 to 12 as of May 1st, 2020
    • Pony :                 Ages 13 to 14 as of May 1st, 2020 = Please visit the Watertown Park & Rec (link below)
  • Practices & games are held at various parks throughout Watertown.
  • Team practices are held during the month of May on weeknights and weekends (practice dates are dependant on the team your child is place on, the coach's availability and the availability of practice fields)
  • The WYBA supplies each player with a team jersey and team hat; WYBA requires that players purchase their own pair of grey baseball pants and black or grey cleats.
  • Registration is First Come First Serve with rosters capped at 26 players to form two teams.
  • Player registration fees:
    • $50 -  Jr Pee Wee
    • $75 - Pee Wee
    • $100 - Little League
  • There is a $50 refund if your family performs 5 hours of volunteer hours on Dibs.
  • Coaches & WYBA organizers meet prior to the season in attempt to distribute player talent equally among the teams in each age division; Returning players can generally expect to have new coaches & new teammates each season
  • Parent volunteer coaches are needed! (Children are automatically assigned to their parent's team)
  • Players are required to participate in their respective age division. Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances -- Head Coaches with multiple children in the program may qualify
